Grassroots Organizations Collaborating for Change

Grassroots organizations are mainly made-up civilians who advocate for a cause that leads to international, national, or local change. They are as essential as the money required for any innovation. In my view, grassroots organizing is an efficient way of changing public policy. This is because they provide a platform for public participation in economic as well as social growth. Grassroots advocates for the common individuals perspective that the government fails to address. In history, some famous active groups, such as Black Panther, started as a grassroots movement as they all wanted a cause for change at an international level. However, in reality, this movement coordinates a group that is impacted by a particular situation and moves forward to create awareness. The creation of awareness helped the group develop a platform to address the needs of the group.

The policy is defined as a cautious system of guidelines that helps guide decisions and achieve a rational outcome. A cause for a positive change rarely comes from the people at the top, taking into consideration the intricacies of politics (McBeath et al., 2020). As stated, it comes from a deliberate system that advocates for change. As a result, the development of the movements enables the community to become in charge of the government and take action in fulfill demands. Moreso, the number of people involved in the grassroots movements are associated with the communities interests as they are also people affected by the oppressive policies.

Moreover, the movements have provided a platform that allows people to address their problems in that society. Therefore, a healthy and positive discussion can cause the development of interactive solutions. This is because the process of mobilizing people against a common goal or issue is the perfect method that enacts empowerment in society (McBeath et al., 2020). Accordingly, the movement also forms cultural awareness to all the people that are involved, which also creates a sequential generation that is aware of the political as well as social rights.
