Encouraging patients to be active in reporting their health data is a useful practice that can be reinforced by the use of technologies (Irizarry, DeVito Dabbs, & Curran, 2015). In the experience, interoperability is shown in the development of a link between a mobile app and the hospitals database, the usability is demonstrated in the easy access of patients to the app, while integration is demonstrated in the success of the healthcare technology campaign.
