They both showed the character of being strong women although they could not use that because they were not given a chance to make decisions and place certain opinions on their husbands. They were both committed to not only loving their husbands but also providing sacrifices in what they seemed to think was right for them and their husbands. This relates to how Shakespeare conveyed the female character in the Elizabethan era where women were expected to be under the control of men when they get married. This basically meant that whatever they do only their husbands had the right to decide for them. This relates to Act 1 scene 111 where the only role of Caeser’s wife was to have children and that was the only reason why women got married in Julius Caeser which took place in the Elizabethan era in order to keep their husbands’ status and for their husbands to be fully considered as a real man.
