Social Networks Advantages and Disadvantages
It is not easy to imagine the modern world without computers, information technologies, and the Internet because they have already managed to occupy a special place in every persons life. Networks have given people the opportunity to communicate potential that was not there before (Miller et al., 2016). Social networks are prevalent, but they have their advantages and disadvantages. The benefit of social networks includes the ability to communicate with work colleagues, relatives, and friends living in different cities and countries and make new acquaintances. In addition, social networks are a platform for business development, as they provide an opportunity to find new customers here and increase the loyalty of regular customers.
In addition to the advantages, social networks undoubtedly have several disadvantages. One of the most significant drawbacks is that people become addicted to social networks, spend substantial time in them, and forget about real life.
