University Transfer: Arguing and Presenting Advice

The topic of this paper is to transfer/not transfer to a university, arguing for transfer to another campus, alongside presenting advice for and against transferring. The first counterargument establishes that culture shock would limit ones integration to the new institution, thus hampering the stay during the first semester. Yan and Wu (2020) contend that students ways of life in rural and urban universities tend to be different, and each institute has its unique student preference. Second, credit transfer could vary, and some could be lost, meaning that one would have to do more units to fulfill the award of a degree or qualification to which they signed up. Therefore, moving to another college may be challenging for people who cannot easily adapt to the new culture and those from institutions with differing curriculum modules.

The strongest position for the topic states that the transfer process would lead to admission into the students institution of choice. A former institution, to which one wishes to leave, could not be offering the majors that one needs, and the sought institute does guarantee better career growth. The quality of education that one receives is more critical compared to students culture and credit transfer. Thus, the comparison and contrast method is the organizational pattern that would be sought in the organization of the papers main points. That is, an argument would be matched with counterarguments. Specifically, the main point is that university transfer would guarantee one studying a program of his or her choice while the counter-arguments is that the process would lead to culture shock for a student.

Ethos will be used in the paper to affirm proficiency by using phrases such as as a student& Second, pathos would be used to create an emotional appeal, such as describing the anguish that students endure when they fail to get a credit transfer. Finally, logos would be evident by presenting statistics and facts, such as the percentage of students who fail to get credit transfer in the United States universities.

To conclude, relocating to a college of choice would motivate students to work harder and achieve their ambitions. The framework highlighted will help convince my audience to transfer to a new university. Several scholars would wish to move to new centers because of the conditions around their current learning environments. The notion of vivid understanding of what each center entails is important for each learner.
