You have been engaged by the board of directors of a company that you are familiar with (perhaps where you currently work or have worked for in the past) or a company that you aspire to work at. Your assignment is to provide a change management plan for the company.
Describe the organizational structure, financial position, scope of operations, and business model (this material was part of the Module 4 Milestone assignment and can be used and or updated as needed).
Identify a problem or reason why the change management plan is necessary. Analyze the ethical aspects of managerial decision-making concerning the development of this problem or issue.
In the role of change consultant, address the following topics.
Describe a comprehensive cultural change recommendation to the board of directors (i.e., describe a new corporate culture).
Explain the challenges of creating a new corporate culture.
Explain how the new corporate culture will be implemented.
Examine potential sources of resistance.
Describe the benefits that the new corporate culture will bring to the organization. Benefits could include a variety of areas such as financial, improved employee engagement, higher productivity, improved morale, improved relations with the public, and many other outcomes depending on the company you select and your change management plan.
Propose means/actions to sustain the cultural change.
Incorporate both a textual descriiption and a visual representation of your change management model in your paper.
The length and formatting requirements are as follows:
1. Your paper must be 5-7 pages in length, excluding the cover page, abstract, table of contents, and references pages.
2. Include a cover page, an abstract, a table of contents, section headers, an introduction, a conclusion, and a references page. Use the APA Template Paper found in the writing center as a resource.
3. Format your paper according to the CSU Global Writing Center. The Writing Center link can be found in the left side navigation panel of Canvas
4. Include three credible sources to support your positions, claims, and observations, two of which should be academic, peer-reviewed sources, in addition to the textbook. The CSU Global Library is a good place to find these sources. Use the link provided in the navigation panel to access the CSU Global Library.
