The purpose of the online assessment portfolio is to demonstrate a variety of online data gathering techniques, as well as utilization of assessment instruments and their suitability for different instructional goals. To this end, a subject/course and student grade or level that is meaningful for you (this can be anywhere from kindergarten students to adult learners) should already be framed from our earlier assignment, the Course Assessment Design.
Building off of the course assessment design, prepare an online portfolio that illustrates a variety of assessment instruments in action, such as an online multiple choice test, T/F statements, writing task instructions with an assessment rubric, Edpuzzle exercise, Mentimeter poll, and other relevant assessment tools. The take-away intention of this assignment is to demonstrate proficiency in these tools while also developing a portfolio that may be showcased to others.
