1) FILM: Watch the film Zeitgeist online at: http://zeitgeistmovie.com/ (2007) List the philosophers (At least 3) who had theories depicted in the film. Where were each philosophers theories displayed in film? Give specific scenes as your examples for each theory. Do you agree with the depiction of each theory in the film? Why or why not? How would you have used each theory if you were making a film?
3) Language: Choose 2 philosophers with theories on language. Make sure you explain the theories in full in your own words. Give examples of how each theory can work or fail us. Do you think language is to blame for all misunderstanding? How can we fix this?
5) Science vs. Religion: Name 2 philosophers who had theories based on science or religion. Explain these theories in full in your own words. Do you think that eventually we will see the end of science or the end of religion? Which one will outlive the other and why? Give examples of each philosophers theory to back your opinion!
