PART 1 – Interview:
Students will interview someone who works in one of the ministries written about in your textbook to gain their perspective about the field, i.e. place of employment, title/position, work climate, and pros and cons of working with this population. Students will submit a 10 Question and Answer Interview. Create quality questions that will produce insight into the field or role. Ask yourself which field, job or role would I like to know more about as I plan for my future? This is a license for you to knock on new doors that you would not normally have access to, but as a student this is your opportunity. Conclude this part of your paper with answering the following questions: (1) What did you enjoy or learn from this interview or the interviewee? (2) What would you change or add to this ministry based on your interview?
The final typed submission will include: a cover page, an introduction which should include brief bio of the interviewee (name, job title, and brief bio), 10 well thought out professional questions and a response to each question for a total of 10 summary responses (i.e. response does not have to be verbatim but can be a summary of the interviewee’s response (be true to the interviewee). Answers to the 2 conclusion questions. APA formatting is required but APA references are not required. APA formatting should include a cover page, double spacing, 1-inch margins, and page numbers.

PART 2 – Research Paper:
Students will write a 3-5 page paper focusing on the most recent research of the chosen ministry in part 1 (above). This paper will include research resources written within the past 7-10 years. Four (4) APA references are required. Use only academic resources, such as, peer reviewed journal articles and books; one of the four required references may be your textbook for this course. APA formatting is required. Continue the use of formatting guidelines from Part 1.

This Ministry Research Project is one paper. It should be submitted as one document and uploaded for this assignment in Canvas.
