The philosophy of student affairs is a short document that outlines your philosophy of student affairs, anchored in literature and research. As such, it should include references to key ideas, theories, and studies that inform your understanding. Unlike a literature review, the philosophy must be concise. It should clearly articulate the foundation of your approach to student affairs, including assumptions and values grounded in literature.
The philosophy should be less than 250 words, not including references. It should be the strongest element of the capstone, reflecting a broad and deep understanding of the field of student affairs.
I have added some personal reflection responses that you can utilize in the paper in the document file “Philosophy”
