Global Poverty and Economic Globalization Relations

Globalization is the embodiment of industrial, social, and economic revolution that helped overcome negative odds in peoples lives. It is a phenomenon that is treated as a turning point in developing the various aspects human beings were engaged in, as globalization is a real advent of prosperous humankinds evolution. From steam engine development to world trade spread, globalization takes its origins from ancient times, when the human race led near-starvation life full of frustration and despair.

From my perspective, globalization announced the arrival of a new age in terms of the abundance of opportunities, challenges, and new inputs to peoples life enhancement. Besides, I am sure that this breakthrough is a significant milestone in colonization, industrialization, and high-tech development processes. Poverty, starvation, and lack of intelligent people were significant issues that postponed peoples improvement. It stands to reason that globalization is a term used to describe how trade and technology have made the world into a more connected and interdependent place (National Geographic Society, 2019, para. 1). Globalization began with the Age of Exploration when nations needed to expand their borders and strengthen their trade chains to earn a living. Nowadays, trade sale is a burgeoning industry including international, multifunctional ties, manifesting a threefold increase in customer purchasing power. The Age of Exploration was exchanged with the Age of Revolution when people obtained their independence and human rights. Finally, the Information Age is an omnipresent high-tech savviness that has penetrated all aspects of our lives. These three paramount eras influenced the way people lived; they gave them opportunities to thrive and hand in their legacy from generation to generation.

I consider globalization to be a necessary change in our history, as it has endowed us with abundant and fruitful life and in terms of various facilities and possibilities. Back then, people endeavored to find solutions to feed their children and find a cure for their diseases. In that case, globalization was like a placebo effect, enabling them to survive and continue their human race.
