Introduction
In this paper, I will discuss the American Hospital Association (AHA). It is a national organization representing hospitals, network systems, patients, and communities. The association was formed in 1898 and is currently based in Chicago, US (American Hospital Association, 2022). The mission of AHA is to promote a just society of healthy communities where everyone reaches their highest potential in terms of health. Based on this, AHA exists to make sure that its members points of view and demands are heard and responded to through advocacy.
Leadership
AHA has various groups of leadership that help ensure the organization runs smoothly. The first leadership group of the ANA is the executive team. The president and CEO of ANA lead the group as the overall leader (American Hospital Association, 2022). The team is made up of senior leaders of ANA and is tasked with different roles in the association. The second leadership group is the Board of Trustees, which comprises leaders from various organizations. The third group of leadership of ANA is the regional executives. These are leaders from different states representing members of those regions.

Quality assurance is among the American Hospital Associations main goals (AHA) goals. The association engages in different roles to ensure its members and partners work towards achieving the set quality measures.
