From my childhood, I grew up reading about how a man with one innovative idea rules the world such as Steve Jobs, and Robert Kiyosaki. Their work always fascinated me. Even I found myself curious enough to know more about their way of handling the business in a well-organized way. Being impressed with their stories, I always wanted to become a businesswoman. I used to read about the world’s great businesswomen and their business approaches. Indra Nooyi is my inspiration. As I am keen to get more knowledge about this subject; I purposely selected Commerce in my 12th Grade. During my study, I found myself more interested in Accounting and Finance. By the end of the semester, I realized that Accounting is the subject that I always understood well and never got bored of. So, I continue to study accounting at a bachelor’s level as well.

Soon after my graduation, I got an opportunity to work under Chartered Accountant (CA) Deep Agarwal in S.G Kini and COs, Baroda which is in the state of Gujarat. Under him, my work is simple as I have to handle transactions of A laundry firm and a small local business. This role is rewarding; I learned not only the practical application of my field of study but also about professional scenarios in the market. However, I was not satisfied with the knowledge that I have gained so far, and I felt the need for more exposure to economically and culturally different environments wherein I could have more intellectual growth. And fortunately, I am enrolled in Torrens University for the course of masters in professional accounting. Other than studying diligently at the university, I am aspiring to get an internship in a renowned firm or company in Australia to become a potential candidate for a job and at the same time a resourceful person for my community, Tibetan. I always believe that I can be more capable of serving my own community after I get the chance to study in Australia.

After study plan

I am planning to apply for Post Study Work (PSW) just after I finish my studies at Torrens University. In those two years of PSW, I am planning to work in different companies so that I can develop technical knowledge, and professional skills and get global exposure. After that, I want to work in Tibetan Entrepreneurship Development (TED), as a Financial Analyst. I believe working at TED would be a great opportunity and great exposure to understand future Tibetan entrepreneurs before I step into the Finance Department, of the Central Tibetan Administration. I am very certain that the greatest joy and satisfaction for me at the end of the day is to be able to fully utilize my energy and knowledge for the greater cause of a community that needs young and dynamic experts.
