Fact Gathering

Tyler has had Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) since he was born while his mum was an alcoholic addict while pregnant. The most immediate assessment needs include offering support services to the client and applying family oneness to ensure a change in the behavioral activities of the client. The relevant facts presented in Tylers condition include routine behavioral changes such as always being angry and frequently becoming frustrated. In addition, he has difficulty in self-expression and cannot communicate efficiently. The negative aspect of Tylers issue is associated with developmental delays and the incapability of accessible communication and expressions (Mansfield, et al., 2018). The most recent studies indicate that FASD is prevalent among children and individuals born out of troubled families, such as in Tylers case. There is need to develop intervention plan which responds to the issues as presented by the client and ensure proper attention to reduce the similar cases in future.

Goal Definition

The intervention plan seeks to establish such an action plan to assist the individual with the FASD issue to overcome the condition and also enable them to adjust their lifestyle for behavioral changes. The key policy areas needed to be changed in family and societal culture, mental and behavioral attitudes, and community involvement to curb the challenges associated with this problem (Mansfield et al., 2018). The most critical and immediate assessment needs for this condition are youth involvement and providing training to all affected individuals.

Plan Development

The critical options include setting targets for social changes, individual regulation, and behavioral changes. Therefore, the initial plan of action would involve conducting prior engagement and collaborating with the affected youths with the available options to monitor the change associated with the set goals (Katherine et al., 2020). At a later stage of the development plan, devise a correctional setting to improve the clients wellness. The use of posters and other materials that portray relevant messages concerning the issues impact on the youths and individuals born with the condition is necessary. These posters and magazines have educative messages affecting the public mentality. Involve the medical practitioners, social and community partners, and various institutional management to strengthen the intervention plan. To change the policy adopted, the primary category of individuals in society who will be influenced include parents, counselors, and medical experts.

Community Partnerships and Participation

Implement a variety of strategies for this case to access various community outreaches. The first approach involves partnering with some elites and other well-wishers to start a community project which would bring people together. The second technique is reaching out to institutions such as learning centers and other educational institutions to involve the youths and young children in the plan. Through developing these initiatives, assess the acceptance level of the affected and innovate new mechanisms for future improvements.

Winning Public Support through Public Education

The standard channels used to raise awareness include media, access to individuals on face-to-face meetings, and various interviews targeting affected individuals. In addition, use posters that portray the advocacy messages. Through media, select only the most essential news and information representing the direct effects and impacts of FASD on the youths. Media will involve print magazines, televisions, and other electronic media to access a significant population of kids and children in communities.

Outcomes

Having developed the intervention plans, evaluate their effectiveness based on the influence and the effects of these strategies on the entire population. The degree of mental and behavioral change is assessed over periods to gauge the outcomes. A quantitative technique of measuring the societal, emotional, and behavioral effects is employed where questions are asked on the effectiveness of these methods. Later, devise more effective and efficient strategies and other plans which would be critical to the target population.
